HOME SWEET WAFFLE HOUSE

HIIIIII hello hello<3

I hope all is well in your sweet little lives.

Last night at 1AM I got home from one of my favorite trips ever. FIT had the latest spring break this year,, butttt that just means I had better weather at the beach. I went with my mom, my little sister, and two of her friends. And, oooooweee wasn’t it wonderful! There was sun, and margaritas, and walks on the beach and it was just the best.

We drove back to Chattanooga on Thursday after stopping for breakfast at the Santa Rosa Waffle House. My favorite meal. The ambiance was unmatched, the vibes were immaculate and I couldn’t have asked for anything more. I owe my life to Vicki. (Vicki was our waitress. (I #love her.))

The car ride home was actually kind of delightful. Its really easy to appreciate being in the car after subwaying everywhere for 8 months. I just slept and snacked for the whole 7 hours except for a couple of bathroom breaks.

When we got home to Chattanooga, I realized that, because my brother had moved into my old room, I would be sleeping in the bunk beds that were made for a 10 year old boy. Oh, the joy! It was actually quite comfortable, other than the fact that my feet hung off the end of the bed. #tallgirl

I got to celebrate my birthday a wee early with my family at my favorite restaurant in Chattanooga. We showed up late, of course. As my sister insisted that I do her hair. Classic. I introduced my parents to skin contact wine. It was quite delish. We ate and laughed, and I opened the most beautiful diamond earrings from my family.

When I got to the airport to head back to NYC, I wasn’t ready to leave. It was just such a fun time, and I love them all so very much. I shared long, sweet hugs with both my parents and they sent on my way.

And here I am, back in the city once more.

Thanks for reading lovers. See you soon! <3

XOXO, Ella
